Expanding the reach of the regulated iGaming sector in South America, Coljuegos has formally authorized Mr Yoker to conduct legal operations within the Colombian territory.
Managed by parent company Global Vixto, the digital brand becomes the latest authorized sportsbook and online casino portal cleared to enter the country.
Targeting Millions in Healthcare Tax Contributions
The addition of Global Vixto’s platform pushes the total number of fully regulated interactive betting and gaming domains in Colombia to exactly 15 active operators. Under the strict compliance terms of the agreement, Mr Yoker has been granted a five-year concession license to deliver fixed-odds sports betting options, digital video slots, and interactive live casino streams.
According to formal fiscal projections published by Coljuegos, the operator is expected to generate COP 27.3 billion (approximately US$ 7.4 million) in direct tax revenue throughout its introductory concession timeline. Under local laws, these gaming collections are ring-fenced specifically to fund Colombia’s public healthcare sector and social defense networks.
Mr Yoker joins a highly structured, tier-one competitive operator class in Colombia that includes global giants such as Betsson, Stake, Sportium, and BetPlay. The regulator confirmed that the 15 active operators have collectively contributed COP 253.2 billion (US$ 68.9 million) in tax revenues during the current calendar year alone.
Driven by expanding mobile registration rates and sports handle growth, total tax receipts from the digital sector are projected to top COP 450 billion (US$ 122.5 million) by the close of the fiscal year.
