Gaming Corps Secures Conditional iGaming Licence for Alberta’s Regulated Launch

This milestone authorizes the company to manufacture and supply its diverse gaming software within Alberta, Canada, ensuring the studio is certified to go live from “day one” when the province’s regulated market officially opens on July 13, 2026.

Capitalizing on a Growing North American Hub

Alberta’s iGaming landscape is governed by the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act and the iGaming Alberta Act. Under this framework, the Alberta iGaming Corporation manages market operations while the AGLC maintains oversight of registration and compliance. The province represents a massive opportunity for tier-one providers, with annual revenue estimates reaching approximately CAD 900 million (over 6 billion SEK) and nearly 65% of residents reporting active gambling engagement.

Gaming Corps Malta is among an elite group of only 30 providers to secure this early certification. The conditional licence remains valid until July 13, 2027, during which time licensees must complete an exhaustive compliance procedure to transition to a full licence.
