European online casino giant Casumo is preparing to discontinue its operations in Ontario, marking the end of its three-year tenure in the province’s regulated sector.
The operator confirmed that all gaming for Ontario-based users will officially terminate on April 30, 2026, with final account closures scheduled for May 14.
Phased Withdrawal Timeline
Casumo has implemented a gradual exit strategy to allow users to manage their balances and bonuses. The brand began notifying players on April 1, simultaneously disabling new registrations. The phase-out includes several critical deadlines:
- April 8: The final day for players to claim outstanding bonuses.
- April 23: Deposits will no longer be accepted.
- April 30: The final day for all gameplay on the platform.
- May 14: Complete closure of all player accounts. Any remaining funds not withdrawn by this date will be forfeited under the shutdown terms.

Originating in Sweden and currently headquartered in Malta, Casumo was an early entrant into Ontario, receiving its license in 2022. During its operational period, it offered a massive catalog of over 3,300 slot titles through partnerships with giants like Playtech and Pragmatic Play. Despite leaving Ontario, Casumo continues its Canadian presence in Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec.
