Tipico, the leading German operator, has obtained the ISO 14001:2015 accreditation for its Environmental Management System (EMS) after the company boosted its focus on responsible gambling and sustainable practices across its European operations.
This development comes after a busy period for Tipico, which saw the operator implement a list of policies in order to strategically position itself with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 certification. After conducting a meticulous operational assessment and auditing, the company has officially been awarded this esteemed certificate.
Tipico received the certification for undertaking several environmental policies at its headquarters in Germany (Karlsruhe and Munich), as well as its Malta headquarters, with the company revealing its long-term goals towards improved environmentally sustainable activities.
The ISO 14001:2015 certificate was officially introduced in 1996 for the purpose of providing companies and organizations with management frameworks, improvement initiatives, and environmental responsibility regulatory assistance to help companies achieve their projected sustainability goals.
In related news, Tipico has recently introduced its “Trusted Partner” responsible gambling initiative that aims to recognize gambling brands within Germany that adhere to gambling laws and regulations.
Additionally, the company has recently revealed plans to acquire Admiral Group from Novomatic in Austria as part of its bigger goals to obtain a 100% stake in Atlas Group Gmbh.
Additionally, Tipico has also entered a content integration deal with the leading supplier Zeal, a development that was announced just after the company revealed its partnership with another top-tier iGaming content supplier, Games Global.
