Leading Philippine gaming technology provider PhilWeb Corporation has officially secured its accreditation under PAGCOR’s newly implemented framework for gaming affiliates and support service providers.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the company confirmed that this certification authorizes it to deliver comprehensive technical and operational support to licensed gaming operators within the country’s strictly regulated ecosystem, specifically as a provider of electronic gaming systems.
Strategic Pivot to an Asset-Light B2B Model
The accreditation marks a fundamental shift in PhilWeb’s business strategy, moving toward an asset-light, business-to-business model focused on generating recurring revenue through platform management and systems integration. This approach allows the company to scale its reach with modest incremental infrastructure investment, mirroring successful models used by global giants like Evolution Gaming.
By transitioning away from capital-heavy physical products, PhilWeb can redirect resources toward innovation and expanding its digital footprint across the local supply chain.
Nationwide Infrastructure and High-Profile Partnerships
PhilWeb’s accreditation case was bolstered by its existing high-profile collaborations with integrated resort leaders. The company provides Okada Manila and Hann Casino Resort with platform operations and robust infrastructure services.
Furthermore, a strategic agreement signed with FBM Philippines in February 2026 enables PhilWeb to deploy its online gaming platform capabilities across FBM’s extensive physical network, with the potential to scale across 30,000 machines at more than 500 locations nationwide.
Brian Ng, President of PhilWeb Corporation, noted the significance of the achievement:
“The current stage represents an important milestone in the development of the industry and the move towards the development of a more structured and transparent industry. The company is dedicated to supporting this process by providing quality technology solutions and working with the industry to strengthen the ecosystem.”
This certification is critical as PAGCOR has mandated that all industry suppliers must be fully accredited by April 1, 2026, or risk being declared illegal and shut down.
