German lottery giant Zeal Network has reported a stellar fiscal year 2025, with revenues reaching €218 million, a 16% year-on-year increase.
During today’s earnings call, executives revealed that the firm is prepared to utilize its “strong war chest” to explore new investments in social lotteries and prize draw opportunities outside of its home market in 2026.
Strategic Success in a “Weak Jackpot” Year
Despite a 2025 market characterized by a “weak jackpot environment,” Zeal successfully grew its lottery customer base by 7%, reaching 1.2 million registered users. Monthly Active Users (MAUs) also climbed to 1.6 million. CEO Dr. Stefan Tweraser emphasized that the company’s acquisition model is becoming less dependent on major jackpots and more stable as a result.
CFO Andrea Behrendt highlighted that Zeal is “doubling down” on its investment playbook:
“[Our approach to] digital marketing channels led the company to excel in our approach to partnerships”.
Dominating the “Dream House” Raffle
A major highlight was the 46% surge in gaming revenue. Zeal continues to lead the “dream house raffle” category in Germany via its Traumhausverlosung business, with plans to increase output to one house raffle per month.
Looking ahead to 2026, the German lottery giant Zeal expects revenue growth of up to 19%, targeting a range of €250 million to €260 million.
