In an industry defined by rapid change and fierce competition, staying ahead of the curve is no small feat. That’s exactly what Evoplay has managed to do — and at the heart of that success is a team of sharp, forward-thinking leaders like Olga Pronak. As a key figure within the company, Olga plays a pivotal role in shaping Evoplay’s strategy, brand presence, and global partnerships.
In this exclusive interview, we sit down with Olga to explore her journey in the iGaming world, her perspective on emerging industry trends, and what makes Evoplay stand out in a saturated market.
From the challenges of staying innovative to the importance of understanding players’ evolving expectations, Olga offers a candid and insightful look into one of the most dynamic brands in iGaming today.
Olga, your reputation in this industry truly precedes you. What drew you to iGaming, and can you share a bit about how your journey in this fast-paced sector began? Above all, what inspired you to pursue a career in this volatile realm?
Olga: Actually, Evoplay headhunted me and already after two months in the company, I understood that I love it and it is totally different from what I thought it was. iGaming happened to be much more interesting and wide, I’d say, than I thought.
Well, when I like something, I’m on fire, and I’m the kind of person that, when I do something, I do it my best. Evoplay is a company of amazing people, so it’s easy to be passionate and inspired in such an environment.
As Head of the Key Account Management Department at the leading iGaming provider Evoplay, you play a key role in maintaining the company’s growth. How has Evoplay’s approach to key account management evolved under your leadership?
Olga: During my leadership, the team has grown in every sense. We’ve added two team leads who are truly outstanding at what they do. Our team has nearly doubled in size.
We’re implementing new ideas and improving our previous growth strategies. But we’ve grown this fast thanks to every single team member’s effort. Our team evolves because each member is part of a united whole and complements one another. Everything we do, we do together – with passion and persistence.
In light of the previous question, can you share what strategies you have used to improve client relationships?
Olga: Well, I do have a couple of little secrets. But to be honest, I believe that for many professionals in our industry, there are no truly “secret strategies.”
Speaking for myself – with over 10 years of experience working with partners in B2B and clients in B2C – I can confidently say that there’s one thing many people tend to overlook: attention to detail in everything.
Be attentive, and you’ll quickly figure out exactly what you need to do to create a truly unique strategy for each partner.
What are your core principles when it comes to developing and leading a top-performing account management team, Olga? What traits must members of your team possess in order to reach goals?
Olga: In my opinion, you need to give people support and the opportunity to grow – and they’ll show you what drives them, what motivates them, and what they need to become the best versions of themselves and to keep striving to be even better.
I always look for people with an open mind, a passion for what they do, a strong desire to solve problems, and, as I’ve mentioned before, great attention to detail.
Importantly, I value people with strategic thinking: those who think ahead, consider different scenarios and potential outcomes. People who aren’t afraid to move forward and take initiative, even when the path isn’t always clear.
In a competitive market such as iGaming, and considering the reputation of Evoplay on a global scale, what tactics have you found most effective in ensuring long-term retention and client satisfaction?
Olga: As you mentioned, this market is highly competitive. And as we know, it’s evolving and changing rapidly. We need to evolve along with it. It’s essential to stay flexible and in tune with both our partners and players. This applies to every area of the business – game production, marketing, partnerships, sales, and so on.
But there are things that must remain constant, like reliability. Partnership is always about trust – in life, in business, everywhere. So I’d say these are the core pillars of strong relationships: reliability, trust, openness, flexibility, respect, and communication.
iGaming is an ever-evolving landscape, so staying up-to-date is crucial for success. How do you stay ahead of emerging trends in the iGaming realm, and do these insights influence your account management strategies?
Olga: Yes, that’s true – trends change like the weather: kind of expected, but still hard to predict exactly. Of course, we have marketing teams that analyse these shifts in more depth. But constant communication with partners also helps us understand the changes and the direction the wind is blowing.
This year, we’ve introduced many changes and new marketing offers for our partners, and through those offers, I believe we’ll also cover some trend-driven ideas.
Speaking of innovations and iGaming, one of the biggest and most impactful recent inventions is artificial intelligence. What is your stance on AI, and do you see it as a helpful tool in your profession or a detrimental technology if not controlled properly?
Olga: Oh, lately there’s been so much talk about artificial intelligence. And it’s easy to see why – it’s an incredible breakthrough that can both help and harm. But not because AI itself is “good” or “bad” – it’s human nature that defines how it’s used. And for now, it’s still humans who control it.
When it comes to our industry, I see many areas where AI can bring improvements, for example, more personalised player engagement. But there are also some AI-driven solutions that aren’t fully refined yet, and they can actually make things more complicated for game providers working with casinos. I believe the future will be full of AI-powered innovations, so we need to stay flexible and adapt to the new realities, just like we always do.
While we are on the subject of the future, our readers would love to learn about your aspirations. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now, and where do you see Evoplay?
Olga: I see myself in five years surrounded by peace, both in the world and within myself, with a deep sense of calm and harmony. Being in that balanced, fulfilled state is incredibly important to reach all the heights that lie ahead of me.
As for Evoplay, it will be an even more well-known, successful, and influential brand, releasing a wide range of games for partners and players around the world. After all, if you know Evoplay, could it really be any other way?
We usually tend to end our interviews on a more personal note, as we would love to learn more about Olga outside of her professional surroundings. What do you like to do in your spare time, Olga? Do you have any particular hobbies that you would like to share, favourite books, movies, etc?
Olga: Outside of work, I’ve been involved in community projects and volunteering for quite some time. A true music lover, I play the guitar. Music has this magical effect on me: it energizes, helps me shift focus, and sometimes even carries me into another state or world through dance.
I’ve studied Eastern arts of balance, and I absolutely love travelling and discovering new cultures. Being amazed is something I always seek.
