BC.GAME Issues $500,000 Global Bounty Following $4.3 Million Third-Party Game Exploit

BC.GAME has authorized a $500,000 bounty to track the wallet used in a recent third-party game vulnerability.

Popular crypto casino BC.GAME has announced a $500.000 bounty for information leading to the recovery of funds following a sophisticated $4.3 million exploit.

The breach, which targeted a third-party game integrated into the platform, was first detected by blockchain analytics firm EyeOnChain on X (formerly Twitter) after unusual movements were spotted in a specific wallet address.

The Mechanics of the Exploit

According to technical data, the attacker’s wallet initially received $1.7 million in USDC before leveraging the stolen capital to open a massive $31 million short position in Ethereum (ETH). However, the market moved against the hacker; as ETH prices climbed, the position collapsed, resulting in liquidations that erased approximately $1.5 million of the illicit proceeds.

In a public statement released on Thursday, BC.GAME confirmed the illegality of the funds and the bounty:

“This address belongs to a hacker, the funds used are illegal proceeds stolen from BC.GAME. The hacker exploited a vulnerability in a third-party game and illegally profited $4,326,700 from BCGAME. BCGAME is now offering a global bounty to all players worldwide for any leads on this address. Bounty reward: $500,000 USD”.

This exploit adds to a turbulent period for BC.GAME. In 2024, the company famously pulled its Curaçao license just prior to a bankruptcy decree, a move it described as a defense against a “hostile” regulatory environment. Since then, the operator has faced a series of ownership disputes involving entities in Belize and Anjouan, leaving millions in player claims unresolved in Curaçao courts.

The controversy has also crossed into the United Kingdom, where BC.GAME’s sponsorship of Leicester City drew heavy criticism from Gambling Minister Baroness Twycross.

This scrutiny recently culminated in a new UK government policy set to fully prohibit unregulated wagering companies from sponsoring British sports teams, requiring all sponsors to hold a valid British license by 2027.
