The National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) announced, last Wednesday (17), the arrival of another member: the Brazilian Compulsive Support Company (EBAC).
Therefore the company specializes in responsible gaming and bettor protection and regulatory compliance. Founded even before the beginning of sector regulation in the country EBAC operates in the areas of technology and behavioral health and regulatory compliance. Among the services offered are for example behavioral monitoring software for bettors along with welcome and support systems for bettors and the organization of live support groups and responsible gaming certification seals.
The company does not operate with a prohibitionist view of gambling. Its proposal is to help operators offer safer environments using reception and technology and monitoring and compliance to reduce damage and strengthen the credibility of the sector according to an official corporate statement.
The arrival of the new associate comes at a challenging time for the market. Among them according to EBAC are the judicialization of the sector and political and social pressure. The corporate board stated that incorporating behavioral monitoring layers will provide operators with better risk assessment metrics while mitigating the social impacts of compulsive gambling.
