There are quite a few memorable moments in our professional lives that we consider priceless on our way toward success. From having our first meeting to discuss what was once just a mere idea to make a difference in the world of iGaming, to forging the first partnership that put Gamblers Connect on the map and shaped us to become the website that we are today. But as of last week, we can finally say that we have a new favourite highlight in our short, yet rich, Gamblers Connect history – the AffPapa iGaming Club & iGaming NEXT Malta 2023, the event that forever changed our lives.
While it is true that our team is no stranger to iGaming events, especially given our extensive experience in the industry, we have never experienced anything similar to what AffPapa & iGaming NEXT did during the past week. Even more, if we take into account that they organized the event on the sunny island of Malta, the internationally recognized European center for iGaming.
Not only did this mean getting the unique opportunity to experience the exotic nature of Malta, but it was also a guarantee to gather an exclusive list of valued members of the iGaming industry under a single roof. And it worked like a charm.
The first thing we have to compliment is the impeccable organizational skills of the AffPapa team in collaboration with iGaming NEXT. Everything from the smallest details such as the decoration of the venue, to really complex tasks such as the location of the venue and day-to-day logistics was done in the utmost professional manner, which consequently resulted in one of the most productive iGaming events ever put together.
Needless to say, thanks to the brilliant work from both AffPapa and iGaming NEXT, the entire week flew by in a perfect symbiosis of business, education, and fun, which is way harder to achieve than one might think.
And it’s not just the event itself. AffPapa & iGaming NEXT also made sure to create various activities both during and after the summit. One of the most memorable and inspiring innovations was the brand-new speed-dating format that was introduced for the first time ever in an iGaming event. Not surprisingly at all, the new format ended up as a massive success and as the highlight of the event, being that it enabled the participants a face-to-face environment where they can easily arrange deals without the exhausting hustle of running up and down the halls and chasing people for a meeting. Simply put, ingenious.
In addition to this, guests also had the opportunity to partake in various fun activities such as the golf tournament, after-event parties, a poker night, and of course, one of the craziest and most-anticipated parties during the year, the Showers. Yet, for us, the two things that left the biggest impressions and consequently changed our lives forever were the AffPapa iGaming Awards and the fact that for the first time in our professional lives, we had our very own Gamblers Connect booth during the two-day event.
With that being said, we are happy to inform you that Gamblers Connect has won the News Affiliate of The Year 2023 award at the prestigious AffPapa iGaming Awards 2023! After last year’s Casino Affiliate of The Year 2022 award, which we also won at the prestigious AffPapa iGaming Awards, we truly believed that it would be quite difficult to replicate the happiness that we felt at that moment.
However, little did we know that just one year later that happiness would get multiplied by 100. Not only did we win a second award, but we also got the blessing to have our very own booth together with the industry’s finest, and truly experience the magic of the Affpapa iGaming Club & iGaming NEXT.
We would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone that voted for us and our dear and beloved readers. We literally wouldn’t be here and wouldn’t be doing what we do if it weren’t for your support and trust in our abilities to bring you the best possible iGaming content on the internet. But most of all, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to AffPapa for believing in our project and for recognizing our dedication and love for the industry since day one.
There are no words that can describe how much we cherish the memories from the past week, and that wouldn’t be possible without AffPapa & iGaming NEXT organizing the best event ever. You guys really raised the bar when it comes to iGaming events.
Yet, that is just the beginning. This past week will serve only as motivation to keep working even harder in order to justify our recognition and live up to our “leading the way in iGaming” motto. Thank you to everyone that was a part of the AffPapa iGaming Club & iGaming NEXT 2023 in Malta, it was truly special to be under the same roof with our fellow peers and colleagues from all verticals of the industry.
