Betting operator 7K has appointed renowned sports journalist and reporter Rafael Morientes as its newest brand ambassador, a strategic move designed to consolidate the company’s foothold in the Brazilian sports market.
Known for his extensive coverage of major sporting events, Morientes joins the brand to expand its reach within the local sports community, specifically targeting football fans.
Campeonato Paulista Coverage
As part of the new partnership, Morientes will have a visible presence at matches for the Campeonato Paulista, one of Brazil’s most traditional state football championships. His role involves creating exclusive behind-the-scenes content, highlights, and insights for 7K’s social media platforms.
Additionally, Morientes will present the “7K Craque do Jogo” award, a trophy sponsored by the betting brand given to the best player of each match. This integration aims to strengthen the brand’s visibility during post-match celebrations.
Strategic Alignment
Gustavo Afonso Ribeiro e Lacerda, founder and board member of Ana Gaming, the holding company behind 7K, highlighted the strategic value of the sponsorship.
“We already know the quality of Rafael Morientes’ work. He has a profile that speaks directly to the audience that consumes sports, especially football,” Ribeiro e Lacerda stated.
He added, “In addition, since 7K is also deeply connected to this universe, with several partnerships within the sports environment, the arrival of the new ambassador will allow the creation of new content, expanding the brand’s reach and engagement on social media”.
Expanding the Roster
Morientes joins a star-studded team of ambassadors at 7K, which already includes Atlético Mineiro striker Hulk, TV presenter Craque Neto, narrator Andre Henning, and singer Xand Avião. By adding a journalistic voice to its roster, 7K aims to diversify its appeal across different audience segments while remaining anchored in football culture.
