The latest of the long list of incidents of Mellstroy doesn’t involve the streamer directly, but it sure did cause a bunch of legal problems for quite a few people. Namely, during the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at the Wembley Stadium in London, Mellstroy offered 300,000 Euros, or 350,000 USD, to the first person who invaded the field during the match. In order to get the money, the person had only one condition – to wear a T-shirt with the name Mellstroy on it.

Not one, but three people decided to take on this challenge and invaded the pitch just 30 seconds after the referee marked the start of the game. All three of the pitch-invaders wore shirts bearing the word “MELLSTROY” printed in large letters, and one even managed to take photos with several players from Real Madrid, before finally being apprehended by the security.

The challenge resulted in all three of the pitch invaders ending up being arrested by the London police. The match was delayed by 2.5 minutes, which is the time it took security to catch these very “brave” individuals.

What makes this story even more interesting is that it is not known whether Mellstroy really paid the promised 300,000 Euros to the three individuals. His only response after the incident was him taking credit for the pitch invasion. Aside from this, both Mellstroy and the people who invaded the pitch remained silent.

As for the consequences of such bold actions, well let’s just say that those three individuals won’t think of doing such a thing ever again. As expected, the London authorities opened up an investigation into the invaders that resulted in several financial and legal consequences.

• Arrest and Detention – all three individuals responsible for invading the pitch were arrested by the authorities of Wembley Stadium, and afterwards detained for an unknown period of time.
