The landmark acquisition of Bally’s International Interactive business by the Greek lottery and gaming supplier, Intralot, has now been completed.
The transaction, first announced in July 2025, was valued at €2.7 billion and was finalized through a combination of cash and newly issued shares in Intralot.
A significant consequence of the deal’s structure is that Bally’s Corporation has now become the majority shareholder of Intralot.
This new ownership arrangement will give the US-based casino giant a more active and influential role in shaping the future strategic decisions of the combined entity.
To ensure leadership continuity through this merger, Robeson Reeves will continue in his role as CEO of both Bally’s Corporation and the newly formed interactive division, which will be known as Bally’s Intralot.
Following the completion of the deal, Bally’s has announced its plans for the proceeds from the cash portion of the transaction.
The company will allocate at least $1.0 billion to reducing its secured debt, a strategic move aimed at strengthening its balance sheet and improving its financial position.
Additionally, Bally’s has committed to injecting $200 million in cash to fuel the development of its flagship casino project in Chicago, a key part of its land-based growth strategy.
This major acquisition creates a formidable new force in the global gaming market, combining Intralot’s extensive lottery expertise and international reach with the proven digital capabilities of Bally’s International Interactive and strong brand recognition.
