Premier casino equipment supplier TCS John Huxley has strengthened its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region with the debut of its Roulette Xtra gaming tables in Singapore.
According to a recent update from the supplier, six of these advanced tables are now operational within the city-state.
While the specific venue was not disclosed, Singapore operates under a strict duopoly managed by Genting Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa and Las Vegas Sands’ Marina Bay Sands, both of which consistently vie for dominance in the luxury gaming sector.
Modernizing Tradition with Technology
The installation highlights TCS John Huxley’s strategy of modernizing traditional table games through technological integration. The new units feature the company’s proprietary Blaze LED surface technology and are configured with Quad Zero wheels.
This combination of high-definition visual displays and distinct mechanical configurations is designed to elevate the aesthetic appeal of the gaming floor while providing a more immersive player experience.
Innovative Game Mechanics
Roulette Xtra distinguishes itself by blending classic gameplay with a high-volatility multiplier mechanic. Players place standard bets in accordance with traditional rules. However, once the dealer announces “No more bets,” the system randomly selects four “Roulette Xtra numbers,” assigning them multipliers ranging from 50:1 up to 500:1.
This feature allows for substantial payouts without requiring players to place additional side bets, effectively broadening the game’s appeal to diverse player demographics.
Strategic Flexibility for Operators
For operators, the product offers significant flexibility regarding house edge management and compliance. TCS John Huxley allows casinos to tailor the game with single, double, or triple zero wheel configurations to align with their specific marketing strategies and math models.
By merging the familiarity of traditional roulette with the excitement of unexpected windfalls, the supplier aims to drive player engagement and extend session times in one of Asia’s most competitive and affluent gaming markets.
