Technology provider Soft2Bet has announced a significant new partnership, naming its Romanian-facing brand, Don.ro, as the main sponsor of the Liga 1 football powerhouse, CFR 1907 Cluj.
The multi-year agreement marks a major marketing move for the online gaming brand within the Romanian market.
Commencing with the 2025–26 season, the comprehensive sponsorship deal will see the Don.ro branding featured prominently on the home and away kits for the senior football team, as well as on all training wear.
The brand will also have a strong presence throughout the club’s home ground, the Dr. Constantin Rădulescu stadium, through a series of planned digital and matchday activations designed to engage the team’s loyal fanbase.
As a gesture to supporters, the partnership includes a jersey giveaway for all season ticket holders. Both organizations have also highlighted a shared commitment to promoting responsible gaming as a core principle of their collaboration.
Don.ro, which launched in 2024, is powered by Soft2Bet’s proprietary MEGA (Motivational Engineering Gamification Application) platform, known for its gamified engagement features.

However, in line with local regulatory guidance in Romania, Soft2Bet has proactively confirmed that certain products, such as social gaming-style interfaces, are not currently activated for the brand, underscoring its commitment to compliance.
This sponsorship is a key part of Soft2Bet’s continued international expansion throughout 2025.
It follows several strategic milestones, including a market access agreement with Caesars Entertainment for a brand launch in New Jersey, the successful debut of its ElaBet.gr brand in Greece, and the acquisition of a full general gaming license in Spain.
