
The SiGMA Euro-Med Awards charity auction concluded as a resounding success, marked by an evening of exceptional generosity and spirited bidding that generated €103,500 for the SiGMA Foundation.
The event, which was proudly sponsored by Pocket Games Soft (PG Soft), featured an exclusive collection of artworks and prized memorabilia that captivated attendees and drove intense competition.
Leading the night’s sales was the captivating artwork Fallen Angel II by Etienne Farrell, which commanded a remarkable final price of €35,000. The piece was successfully acquired by XGENIA, setting a high benchmark for the evening.
Equally impressive was the sale of a signed Lionel Messi shirt, a coveted item for any collector, which was sold to ADWA for €24,000, underscoring the universal appeal of the legendary footballer.
Several other items also attracted substantial bids, contributing to the event’s success:
- The Maltese Falcon by EDO was secured by Vegas Legends for €20,000.
- A rare signed photograph of Pelé was purchased by Betsson Group for €11,000.
- Where the Heck is Alice? by Lucienne Spiteri was sold to Alea for €8,000.
- Dead Man’s Hand by Emre Tuna was claimed by CSB Group for €5,500.
The auction was a powerful demonstration of the iGaming industry’s deep commitment to philanthropic causes. All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit the SiGMA Foundation’s global initiatives, which focus on providing education, promoting sustainability, and delivering critical humanitarian aid.
The event successfully merged the worlds of contemporary art, sporting history, and charitable giving, proving that every bid can contribute to making a meaningful difference.
Following a period of significant fundraising success, the SiGMA Foundation has announced an ambitious pipeline of projects for 2026, with a strategic focus on enhancing education, health, and sustainability in communities worldwide. These initiatives are made possible through generous support from sponsors like the digital mobile games company PG Soft.
Building on its impactful work during SiGMA Euro-Med, the charity auction will direct its efforts toward several key locations:
- Ethiopia: In Bonga, projects include providing water tanks for Wush Wush Kindergarten, constructing four new classrooms, and developing a revenue-generating community hub to ensure the sustainability of local school operations. In Jimma, the St. Peter & St. Paul Primary School will be refurbished to create safe, weatherproof learning environments.
- Uganda: Efforts in Kasese will focus on constructing a new kindergarten with three classrooms and sanitation facilities, alongside a major expansion of the local Primary School, adding five classrooms and a multipurpose hall.
- Peru: In Iquitos, the Foundation will rebuild the Casa Betania Night Shelter and establish a River Repository with dormitories for river patients awaiting medical care.
- Guatemala: The successful Clay Filters & Clean Stoves initiative in Puerto Barrios will continue, expanding its reach with more filters and safer stoves manufactured through strengthened local production.
- Philippines: A multi-faceted approach includes installing Wi-Fi for e-learning in Tondo, launching Phase 2 of the Batiawan Community Centre, and upgrading the José Depiro Formation Centre with solar power and air conditioning.
Between 2023 and 2024, the SiGMA Foundation successfully raised $935,400 through its charitable auctions. Reinforcing its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, the SiGMA Group will now also donate a percentage of its event ticket sales to these charitable endeavors.
