DraftKings has teamed up with the UFC to launch a new responsible gaming campaign that will shine a light on its Responsible Gaming Center within the DraftKings app.

The responsible gambling campaign features a new advertisement promoted by renowned MMA commentator Jon Anik that is aimed at promoting safer gambling practices to a wider US audience.

The official start of the campaign is scheduled for the 6th of June, and it will commence with a 15-second advertisement airing just before the ceremonial weigh-in for the upcoming UFC 316.

Moreover, a 30-second version of the ad will debut the following day, on June 7, and it will air twice during the main fight night broadcast of the same event.

In addition, the shorter version of the ad is set to air once again during the UFC 318 broadcast scheduled for July 19 and will continue to run across multiple social media platforms for the rest of 2025.

Lori Kalani, DraftKings’ Chief Responsible Gaming Officer, highlighted the importance of the campaign by commenting:

Responsible gaming is a core part of who we are at DraftKings, and we’re always looking for impactful ways to expand awareness and education. UFC provides a tremendous platform to amplify that message to a broad and passionate audience. We’re proud to collaborate on this campaign to reinforce that responsible gaming is for everyone.

This important initiative builds on a long-standing partnership between the two companies ever since DraftKings became the UFC’s first-ever Official Sportsbook and Daily Fantasy Partner in both the US and Canada back in 2021.

In related news, DraftKings recently reported its Q1 2025 financial results that showed a 20% year-on-year revenue increase to $1.41 billion.

However, despite the substantial revenue growth, the company still posted a net loss of $33.9 million for the quarter.

At the same time, DraftKings is also facing legal challenges, with a patent infringement lawsuit filed against it in May by Micro-Gaming Ventures.
