Leading iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play has announced its expansion into a new product category with the launch of a new portfolio of arcade-style games, Plinko+.

The first title in this new series, Plinko+, is now available to operators, with two additional gamesSpire+ and Mines+, scheduled for release later this year.

This strategic move sees the supplier diversifying its extensive content library beyond its well-known slot and live casino offerings.

According to Pragmatic Play, the new arcade vertical is designed to provide players with “fun and familiar gameplay with simple mechanics and themes,” catering to a different segment of the iGaming audience that prefers straightforward, instant-win style entertainment.

The debut game, Plinko+, is based on the classic and popular Plinko mechanics. The gameplay involves players dropping balls from the top of a pyramid-shaped grid filled with pins.

The balls then bounce their way down, ultimately landing in prize buckets at the bottom. The lowest value prizes are in the center, while the biggest prizes are located in the buckets on the outer edges.

The game also includes customizable features, allowing players to choose between playing with eight or sixteen prize buckets. They can also select their preferred risk level, from low to high, to alter the game’s volatility.

Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, commented on the launch:

Plinko+ is the first title in Pragmatic Play’s new arcade portfolio, combining simple, low-volatility gaming with a fun theme, vibrant graphics, and multipliers of up to 1,000x. More arcade games are set to follow, with Spire+ and Mines+ coming soon.
