Mor Weizer, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the top-tier Playtech, revealed in a recent interview with Gambling Insider that the newly-regulated Brazilian iGaming scene is the number one market of the leading supplier when it comes to live casino entertainment.
The esteemed Playtech is one of the largest iGaming software providers, and it supplies operators with a variety of entertainment, including sports betting, online slots, and, above all, state-of-the-art live casino games.
In fact, Playtech’s live casino offerings extend to several major gambling brands, including the giant MGM Resorts, which operates in the United States.
From here, and according to Mor Weizer, Brazil is already the top market for the company, despite the fact that it went live a little over two months ago.
Moreover, Weizer disclosed Playtech’s plans to further expand in Latin and North America, highlighting the company’s expansion goals into the Colombian, Mexican, and US gaming markets.
The CEO of Playtech said:
Alongside the US, there is a very significant opportunity in Brazil – which is already the largest contributor to our live casino vertical globally. We expect our partners to continue going from strength to strength in one of the most exciting countries for the industry alongside the US.
Lastly, the Chief Executive Officer said that Playtech is back on top of the live casino vertical, stressing the company’s hard work and strategic expansion into new markets as two of the biggest contributors to its growth and success.
In other related news, Playtech has been very busy since the start of 2025.
More specifically, in just two months, the company entered a content integration deal with the leading studio BGaming, partnered with the French Pari Mutuel Urbain to boost the operator’s poker offerings, and signed a deal with the Dutch national lottery to launch a cutting-edge bingo platform.
