PartyPoker Tour is Opening Its Doors to Its Final Stop

The day is finally here. After an incredibly successful event in Birmingham, the PartyPoker Tour is opening its doors to its final stop at Genting Casino Stratford.

The festive atmosphere is electric, and the excitement of the Grand Final can be felt throughout the poker room, even at these early hours. The whole team is excited to open the poker room doors, a few festive jumpers are bound to be worn.

The £150 Mini Main Event will kick off at 3pm, with a £50,000 GTD, and it is expected to attract big numbers. As we are still feeling nostalgic, let’s go down memory lane and remind you all of who the winners of this first season are.

The London winner, Dost Ghrabie, took down the 866-player field, taking home the first ever Mini Main Event trophy in history, as well as £17,170, after making a deal with Grace Smith.

Second up, Manchester. With a field of 418 entries, it was Ion Oprea who won the glory, the trophy, and £8,885, after making a three-way deal with fellow final tablists Marta Porter and Daniel Keiller.

Glasgow saw a total of 468 entries. It was a tough fight, but local Scottish player Christian Watt came out victorious, taking home £10,260.

And last, but definitely not least, Birmingham. Battling through a field of 660, Robert Douras took home the final trophy, as well as £14,370 in prize money.

So you see, all eyes are on this last Mini Main Event of the season. Today, we are going to see roaming between the tables the likes of the one and only PartyPoker Ambassador Jamie Staples, and the ever so charming Joe Beevers,The Hendon Mob Founder.

More action is coming as the week heats up, with free activities off the felt and fun mixed games branded by Poker.PRO, who will also be live reporting on the ground, so make sure to follow all the action here.
