The momentum continued yesterday with another busy schedule. At noon, the final starting flight of the PartyPoker £150 Mini Main Event, Day 1F, got underway. This session drew 140 entries and saw 21 players secure their spot in the next stage. Familiar faces from the PartyPoker Tour team, including Natalie Bromley, Barry Carter, and Asif Warris, were spotted at the tables for this Hyper flight.
Day 2 commenced at 6pm and produced an impressive turnout. A final count of 716 entries generated a massive prize pool of £90,750, easily surpassing the £50,000 guarantee. By the time play concluded for the night, just 16 contenders had successfully navigated the field to reach Day 3 of this massive tournament.
Leading the pack into Day 3 is Sebastian Constable, sitting on a stack of 5,150,000 chips. He is trailed by Adewale Keshinro with 4,055,000 and Sidharth Menda holding 3,180,000. Scottish Triple Crown winner Niall Farrell also remains in the hunt, having bagged up 1,120,000 chips at the close of play.
Later in the evening, the Poker.pro branded Sviten Special returned at 7pm. This side event attracted 44 entrants to build a total prize pool of £2,200. The eventual champion of the tournament walked away with a top prize of £580.
The popular Mystery Bounty event kicked off at 8pm, drawing 73 entries for a total prize pool of £7,310. PartyPoker Ambassador Matt Staples joined PartyPoker Tour member Asif Warris in the field, with the tournament winner eventually securing a payout of £2,090.
