MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Starts $300 Million Renovation Project

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, one of the biggest and most popular casino establishments in Las Vegas, has embarked on one of the most ambitious renovation projects to date, announcing plans to spend a whopping $300 million to remodel all of its 4,212 suites and rooms of its main tower.

The renovation project is currently underway and is expected to end in December 2025, with the casino already prepared to invest a mind-blowing cash amount to ensure that its premises resonate with sophisticated hospitality and a contemporary experience.

This includes a complete makeover to ensure that all of its 4,212 suits are up to the highest standards, providing customers with unparalleled experience, state-of-the-art facilities, and a unique touch of 70s disco throwback.

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino issued an official statement where the company revealed that the first rooms would be already available for reservation starting March 1st, 2025, showing that this renovation is definitely going according to plan.

MGM Grand has long been recognized as the center of entertainment and excitement in Las Vegas and these newly remodelled rooms, coupled with new attractions on the horizon, demonstrate our commitment to evolving the guest experience for both leisure and business travellers.

The main goal of MGM is to create a playful yet elegant atmosphere by applying dynamic patterns and bold artwork. Moreover, the company will also upgrade the bathrooms to feature spacious walk-in showers and create a serene feeling of a real-life spa experience.

And for an even more exclusive experience, the casino will also renovate the King Rooms which now will feature warm gray textured wall coverings, walnut wood finishes, and vibrant and colourful carpet designs.

Prerequisite elements and features have also been updated, and this includes charging ports and stations with USB, USB-C and traditional charging outlets, as well as enhanced blackout drapery specifically designed to help guests get more quality sleep in the ultimate relaxed holiday experience.
