Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has announced that Kyle Sauers has been promoted to the role of president, an expansion of his duties alongside his ongoing position as the company’s chief financial officer.
Sauers has served as CFO for the company since 2020. In this newly broadened capacity, Sauers will assume greater oversight of the company’s day-to-day operational activities.
His responsibilities will now include driving execution and enhancing performance across RSI’s entire portfolio of operator brands, which includes BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse.
This strategic leadership restructuring is designed to optimize the company’s operational framework and support its continued growth trajectory in the competitive North American market.
The move allows RSI’s Chief Executive Officer, Richard Schwartz, to pivot his focus toward key strategic initiatives.
With Sauers managing daily operations, Schwartz will dedicate more time to driving innovation, advocating for online casino legalization in emerging jurisdictions, and exploring other significant strategic opportunities for the company.
The new structure is intended to capitalize on RSI’s current momentum by aligning operational execution under Sauers’ leadership while freeing up executive capacity for long-term strategic planning and industry-level engagement.
The company believes this change will be instrumental in maximizing performance in its existing markets and preparing for its next phase of expansion and development.
Kyle Sauers stated:
We have an extraordinary culture grounded in innovation, integrity and accountability. Together, we’ll continue strengthening our operations, maximising performance in current markets and positioning RSI for the next phase of growth.
