Leading crypto-centric betting operator BC.Game has been announced as the main sponsor for the Nigerian football team, Kwara United FC, for the upcoming 2025/26 Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

This partnership marks a significant step in the company’s strategic expansion into the African market and will see its branding featured prominently across the club’s assets. The deal is initially set for one year, with an option to be extended.

This new sponsorship follows BC.Game’s recent successful acquisition of dual licenses in Kenya, where it now operates through its subsidiary, Blockdance Africa.

Under the terms of the agreement with Kwara United, the BC.Game logo will be visible on both the home and away shirts of the team, which competes in Nigeria’s top professional football division.

The team plays its home matches in an 18,000-seat stadium in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, where the operator’s branding will also be apparent throughout the arena and on the club’s official digital media platforms.

BC.Game’s increased focus on regulated African markets comes after the company withdrew its Curaçao license in late 2024. The withdrawal followed reports of legal action and bankruptcy of its operating entities in the region.

However, the operator has strongly disputed these allegations, insisting that the move to exit Curaçao was a compliance-driven decision and was unrelated to any financial or legal challenges.
