As part of its sponsorship agreement with the UEFA Europa League and the Conference League, Kaizen Gaming has completed a series of trophy exhibitions across Portugal, Romania, and Bulgaria.
The event series was part of an initiative by Betano, a Kaizen Gaming-owned sports betting platform, to bring trophies from the UEFA Europa League and the Conference League closer to fans from these three regulated markets.
The latest of the three exhibitions was the one in Bulgaria, which took place at the Sofia Event Centre in Paradise Centre Mall on the 29th of April, and marked the first time that these trophies were officially shown in Bulgaria.
What is particularly interesting is that the event in Bulgaria also featured Italian goalkeeper legend and UEFA Ambassador, Gianluigi Buffon, who marked his first-ever visit to the capital of the country, Sofia.
In addition to Buffon, Bulgarian pop-folk singer Galena and football legend Krasimir Balakov also attended the exhibition.
Gigi Buffon commented:
I am truly honoured to join the Betano Trophy Event as a UEFA Ambassador. It is a great opportunity to visit Sofia for the first time and engage with such a passionate football community. I’m excited to share this experience with Bulgarian fans and celebrate the spirit of the game together.
Prior to the Bulgarian event, Kaizen Gaming organized the exhibition in Romania at the Park Lake Shopping Centre in Bucharest this January. The event gathered football enthusiasts and featured players from FC FCSB, a football club sponsored by Betano and the current champions of Romania.
The Portugal exhibition took place in Porto and gathered more than 1,700 fans, and the event featured Helton, a former FC Porto player and captain who won the 2011 UEFA Europa League. Helton participated in the exhibition and shared memories of the victory of Porto in the all-Portuguese final in Dublin.
The three exhibitions are a celebration of the three-year global sponsorship deal between Betano and the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League that covers the 2024/2025 and 2026/2027 seasons.
