International Game Technology (IGT), a leading software provider, had two of its flagship titles pay out four life-changing jackpots at the beginning of 2025, each of them releasing a win that exceeds the million-dollar mark.
In January 2025, IGT’s flagship games, Powerbucks and Wheel of Fortune, created four millionaires, releasing life-changing jackpots that went well over $1 million. The four life-changing jackpots in question were all won by players from North America within a span of a couple of weeks.
The first $1,183,314 life-changing win happened on the 9th of January when a player hit the jackpot while playing Wheel of Fortune Diamond Spins 2X Wilds at the Encore Las Vegas Hotel.
The second major win occurred on the 11th of January, just two days later, when a player from British Columbia won the CA$1,132,698 (US$792,480) grand prize while playing the online version of Wheel of Fortune Elegant Emeralds.
Furthermore, the third grand win happened on the 14th of January when a player from Uncasville, Connecticut, won a whopping $1,374,170 while playing Powerbucks at the Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino.
Lastly, the fourth and final win occurred on January 19th in Quebec, when the lucky online Powerbucks winner won CA$1,000,000 (US$699,640) while playing Wheel of Fortune Ruby Riches, marking the second consecutive month where IGT’s flagship titles release four jackpots above the $1 million mark.
More specifically, IGT has already created 4 millionaires in December 2024, as the leading provider’s best-performing games released four seven-figure jackpots, including:
