High Roller Technologies has announced the strategic appointment of Sara Nunes as the new Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer for its Finnish operations.
In her new role, Nunes will be instrumental in shaping the commercial direction of the company in the key Finnish market, reporting directly to the regional CEO.
Nunes brings over a decade of high-level experience in the iGaming industry to the position. Her impressive career includes senior roles at several leading operators, such as Kindred, Betsson, and most recently, Rootz.
Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in developing and executing commercial strategies, forging key partnerships, and driving business growth, making her a valuable addition to the High Roller executive team.
Ben Clemes, CEO of High Roller, expressed his excitement about the appointment, stating:
Sara’s wide-ranging experience and deep professional network in Finland brings our executive management team from strength to strength.
Nunes also commented on her new role, saying:
I was attracted to High Roller because of the company’s significant potential. The Company’s ambition to expand into high upside regulated markets is compelling, and I’m excited to contribute to High Roller’s growth.
Interestingly, before her successful career in gaming, Nunes was a commercially successful pop artist in Finland.
This appointment is the latest in a series of key leadership hires for the company, following the appointment of Kristofer Muscat as COO in January. It also comes as High Roller prepares for its platform launch in Ontario in the second half of the year, following a recent partnership with Playtech.
