Guarani Futebol Clube has officially announced a new master sponsorship agreement with the sports betting firm Bigbet, marking a significant milestone in the club’s commercial strategy.
The partnership was launched ahead of the closing matches of the Campeonato Paulista, providing a vital financial and visibility boost during the peak of the tournament.
A Winning Debut in Derby 213
The announcement of the Bigbet partnership coincided with one of the most significant sporting moments of the season. The new sponsor debuted on the club’s jersey during the historic Derby 213 against arch-rivals Ponte Preta. Guarani secured a dramatic 1-0 victory, an emotional and symbolic win that immediately associated the Bigbet brand with on-pitch success. This win propelled the team to fourth position in the championship table.
Market Trends and Commercial Planning
Under the leadership of President Rômulo Amaro and Marketing Head Adriano Hintze, the club described the deal as a results-oriented move. “The partnership reinforces our positioning as a modern club, attractive to the market and attentive to great activation opportunities,” the administration noted.
The deal reflects a broader trend in Brazilian football sponsorship. According to the Ibope Repucom Mapa do Patrocínio, the presence of betting companies on team kits grew by 24% in 2025. Betting firms now represent the third-largest investment segment in the sport, following only the financial and real-estate sectors.
By leveraging the current momentum of the betting industry, Guarani Futebol Clube continues to strengthen its commercial footprint, demonstrating that clubs outside of the traditional financial elite can effectively compete for high-value partnerships through strategic timing and market awareness.
