Galaxy Gaming has officially introduced its Monopoly Table Games Progressive to the United Kingdom, launching the product across several prestigious London venues in partnership with Metropolitan Gaming.
The rollout sees the Monopoly Blackjack Progressive go live at the Park Lane Club, Empire Casino, The Sportsman Casino, and Metropolitan Mayfair. This launch marks a significant step for Galaxy Gaming, bringing the globally iconic board game brand to the live casino floor through an exclusive licensing agreement with Hasbro.
A Premium Experience for London
The new progressive tables combine traditional blackjack mechanics with the familiarity of the Monopoly brand, offering players a unique side-bet and jackpot experience. This move is the first time Galaxy Gaming has deployed its Monopoly-branded progressive technology in the UK physical market.
Matt Reback, CEO of Galaxy Gaming, highlighted the strength of the collaboration.
“This launch celebrates our strong partnership with Metropolitan Gaming and their leadership in bringing this exciting new experience to players in the UK market,” Reback said.
Innovating the Casino Floor
For Metropolitan Gaming, the addition of a recognizable IP like Monopoly is seen as a key differentiator in attracting diverse player demographics.
“Monopoly is one of the most recognizable brands in the world, and this launch reflects our commitment to delivering innovative, premium experiences that surprise and delight our players,” said Alex Oswald, Managing Director at Metropolitan Gaming. “Working closely with Galaxy Gaming allows us to introduce fresh, engaging gameplay, enhancing the guest experience and reinforcing Metropolitan’s position as a leader in casino entertainment.”
Corporate Context
The launch comes as Galaxy Gaming continues to navigate a significant corporate transition. The company is currently in the process of a merger with live casino giant Evolution, following an $85 million acquisition deal announced in 2024. The transaction is pending regulatory approvals and is expected to close by mid-2026, further consolidating Galaxy’s premium table game assets under the Evolution umbrella.
