Flutter Entertainment has announced the launch of a new global joint venture initiative, the Tech4Good Awards, in partnership with the innovation hub Alpha Hub and the sports organization Beyond Sports.
The awards are designed to support and fund organizations that are using technological innovation to promote health and wellbeing through sports and physical activity.
The new initiative will offer a total of £60,000 ($80,830) in funding to successful applicants. In addition to the financial support, winners will also receive a bespoke innovation support program to help them scale their projects and maximize their impact.
The awards are open to a wide range of mission-driven groups from across the globe, including startups, social enterprises, and nonprofit organizations that are leveraging technology to inspire healthier and more active communities.
This launch is a key component of Flutter’s broader corporate social responsibility strategy, as outlined in its Positive Impact Plan.
The company highlighted compelling global statistics as a key motivator for the initiative, noting that an estimated 31% of adults worldwide are not meeting recommended levels of physical activity, which has a significant negative effect on both physical and mental health.
The Tech4Good Awards program follows another recent community-focused initiative from the company, with its Flutter UKI division having launched the £500,000 “Cash4Clubs” grassroots support fund last month.
Applications for the inaugural Tech4Good Awards are now officially open to interested parties. The application window will close on October 31, 2025, with the winners set to be announced in the new year.
