
Global digital sports platform Fanatics has officially expanded its ecosystem with the launch of Fanatics Markets, a new prediction market platform designed to let users trade on the outcomes of sports, financial, and cultural events.
Now available on both iOS and Android, the app offers a regulated and interactive way for fans to leverage their knowledge, allowing them to buy and sell contracts on everything from game results to interest rate changes.
The platform’s infrastructure is powered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA), a CFTC-registered exchange. This partnership ensures that Fanatics Markets operates with institutional-grade reliability, providing real-time market sentiment and transparent pricing.
The launch follows Fanatics’ strategic acquisition of Paragon Global Markets, LLC in July 2025, a federally registered introducing broker and member of the National Futures Association, which paved the regulatory path for this new venture.
Fanatics Markets is rolling out in two distinct phases. Phase One, which is live today, focuses on event contracts across sports, economics, and politics. Phase Two, scheduled for early 2026, will broaden the scope significantly to include markets on cryptocurrency, IPOs, pop culture, AI technology, and music.
The app is currently accessible to users in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Utah. A wider expansion is imminent, with plans to launch soon in major markets including California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
Consistent with its betting and gaming division, Fanatics has prioritized consumer protection. The app includes a suite of responsible trading tools, allowing users to set strict deposit limits, session timers, and self-exclusion periods to manage their exposure effectively.
This move positions Fanatics to compete directly in the growing prediction market sector, leveraging its massive existing database of sports fans to bring financial hedging and event trading to the mainstream.
