EEGS Welcomes Distinguished Leaders to Its Associations Advisory Board

We are proud to announce the formation of the EEGS Associations Advisory Board, a distinguished panel of experts committed to advancing and supporting our core mission and ongoing initiatives.

Their collective insight and professional expertise will be instrumental in guiding EEGS’ future direction and enhancing our community.

Sherene Fernando – Associate Director, Advisory Services Responsible Gambling Council. 

As the leader of RGC’s Advisory Services team, Sherene brings more than 14 years of dedicated experience in responsible gambling. Her extensive portfolio includes the development of strategy and policy, in-depth program reviews, and the creation, implementation, and assessment of training programs.

Her work has also included contributions to problem gambling prevention initiatives, a range of RGC research studies, and assisting operators in applying recommendations to foster better staff engagement, promote informed player choice, and strengthen organizational RG culture.

Ekaterina Hartman – Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA)

Ekaterina has dedicated 12 years at EGBA to addressing legal and regulatory matters in the gambling sector at both EU and national levels.

Before her tenure at EGBA, she was involved with complaint and infringement procedures within the European Commission’s DG Health and Consumers. Her professional background also includes roles at the European Parliament and a consultancy in Brussels. Ekaterina earned a Ph.D. in Health Policy from Medical University-Sofia, an LL.M. in European Law, and a B.A. in European Studies from the University of Maastricht.

Zoran Puhac – Secretary General of European Organization for Gaming Law (EOGL) 

Zoran offers approximately 15 years of experience in C-level management and association coordination within the industry, complemented by three decades of expertise in communications. A graduate of the Air Force Academy, he also holds a postgraduate degree from the Faculty of Political Sciences with a specialization in crisis communications.

We are enthusiastic about the future possibilities and are certain that with the expert direction of the EEGS Associations Advisory Board, we will persist in our growth and reach significant new achievements.
