
The Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS) has announced a significant expansion of its Advisory Board for the upcoming 2025 event, welcoming three outstanding industry leaders from diverse sectors of the gaming industry.
The new appointments are set to bring a wealth of new perspectives and deep expertise, further enhancing the strategic direction and scope of the prestigious summit.
Joining the board is Simon Thomas, a highly influential figure in the land-based casino industry. As the Chairman and majority shareholder of London’s iconic Hippodrome Casino, Thomas brings unparalleled operational experience. His leadership extends to his roles as Chairman of the UK casino section of the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC), a Director of the European Casino Association, and a Director of the Heart of London Business Alliance. His involvement provides the board with invaluable insight into casino management, regulation, and industry advocacy.
The board is also strengthened by the addition of Pieter Remmers, a renowned veteran in the field of responsible gambling. As the Founder of Assissa Consultancy Europe and the long-serving Secretary General of the European Association for the Study of Gambling (EASG), Remmers is a leading authority on player protection. His expertise in consultancy and the training of gambling industry professionals underscores the summit’s commitment to promoting a sustainable and ethical gaming environment.
Rounding out the new members is Gjorgje Ristikj, a prominent expert in the digital iGaming and affiliate marketing space. Ristikj is the CEO and Founder of LinkDataMedia and iGamingWise.com, as well as the Co-founder and CEO of the analytics platform RankRadar. Through his consultancy firm, he also offers expert Affiliate Management services. His appointment ensures the board is equipped with a critical perspective on data analytics, digital media strategy, and the evolving affiliate landscape.
