Ah, 40 Super Power. Because clearly we didn’t have enough 40-line fruit slots floating around, right? To be fair, this one from EGT Digital isn’t pretending to reinvent the wheel — and that’s kind of the point. It leans hard into the “retro with a twist” vibe: classic fruit symbols, fiery 7s, and enough red and gold to make your eyes squint.
The base game is exactly what it says on the tin — 40 fixed paylines, low-to-medium volatility, and stacked wilds that actually do something when they land. The gold star scatter pays anywhere, which is always nice, especially when you’re grinding through the dry spells.
There’s a free spins bonus too, triggered by hitting 3 or more scatters. You’ll get a decent batch of spins with a shot at retriggers, but don’t expect wild multipliers or game-changing mechanics. This isn’t that kind of party. You spin, you (hopefully) win, and maybe you hit that modest max win of around 1,000x. Nothing life-altering, but steady enough.
RTP? EGT keeps it vague with “theoretical payout” values — usually hovering around 95.5%, which is serviceable but won’t win any awards. Bet range is broad enough to suit casuals and higher rollers alike, but let’s be honest: this is more of a time-killer than a high-stakes thrill ride.
And of course, there’s the standard “Jackpot Cards” side feature that randomly triggers and lets you pick cards until you match a suit. A glorified pick game that feels more like filler than feature.
Bottom line? 40 Super Power is for players who don’t want drama — just classic gameplay with a few bells and whistles. If you’re chasing the next big innovation, move along. But if you’ve got a soft spot for old-school charm with solid mechanics, this one’s worth a few test spins.
