Club Brugge Secures Landmark Sponsorship Agreement with Betsson Group

In a landmark move for Belgian football, Club Brugge has announced a three-year partnership with the esteemed Betsson Group, marking the most significant shirt sponsorship deal in the club’s history.

This strategic alliance will see the global gaming giant become the official main partner of the Belgian Pro League powerhouse.

Under the terms of the agreement, the front of Club Brugge’s jerseys for all domestic competitions will feature betfirst.sport, a dynamic live score application. For its European campaigns, the club will showcase Betsson.sport, a dedicated media platform also operated by the Betsson Group.

Bob Madou, the Chief Executive Officer of Club Brugge, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting a shared commitment to innovation and a strong alignment of values between the two organizations.

With this deal, we join a distinguished group of teams in the Betsson Group family, including Inter, Boca Juniors, and Atlético Nacional.

The partnership extends beyond mere brand visibility, aiming to foster community outreach initiatives and elevate the fan experience for the club’s loyal supporters in Belgium.

This collaboration is a key component of Betsson Group’s overarching strategy to leverage sports sponsorships to solidify its footprint in pivotal international markets.

Jesper Svensson, Chief Executive Officer of Betsson Group, described the agreement as a “significant milestone.” He emphasized that Club Brugge’s storied legacy and passionate fanbase were instrumental factors in forging the partnership.

The newly branded kits are scheduled for their inaugural appearance at the end of June in a friendly match against K.V. Kortrijk. This unveiling will signal the official commencement of a new and promising chapter for both Club Brugge and Betsson Group.
