Chipstars Casino > Withdrawal Issue

I deposited €22 at Chipstars and played exclusively live sports bets for more than three months. Through fair play, my balance grew to €1,150.
When I requested a withdrawal, Chipstars demanded full KYC verification. I complied with every single request — including paying for a notarised copy of my passport at my own expense. All documents were accepted.
After a long period of silence, my withdrawal was denied and my account was blocked. Even more, after blocking my account, Chipstars offered to return only my deposit (€22). I refused this, as it would mean accepting their decision and giving up my right to dispute it and demand the full payout of my legitimate winnings.
On Trustpilot, Chipstars publicly responded to my complaint with the following statement (quote):

“The player did not complete the full KYC verification despite multiple reminders. Furthermore, the external sportsbook provider flagged the account as professional play, which is not allowed under our Terms & Conditions.”

Let’s break this statement down:

“The player did not complete the full KYC verification” – false.
I fully completed KYC, including providing a notarised copy of my passport.
I never received any additional requests from Chipstars.
I have proof that my documents were submitted and accepted.

“Despite multiple reminders” – false.
I never received any “reminders.”
On the contrary, after I submitted all documents, Chipstars stopped responding to me for more than six months.

“Flagged as professional play” – an empty excuse with no evidence.
Chipstars’ Terms & Conditions contain no definition of “professional player.”
The casino accepted my bets for months without issue, and only when I won a significant sum did this excuse appear.
Even if they believed my betting style was a problem, they could have stopped accepting future bets — but they have no right to confiscate already legitimately won funds.

“External sportsbook provider” – shifting responsibility.
My contract is with Chipstars, not with any “external provider.”
Chipstars is fully responsible for player balances and for honoring withdrawals, regardless of what a third-party provider claims.

Conclusion:
Chipstars is spreading false statements and inventing contradictory excuses to unlawfully withhold my winnings. The fact that they offered to return only my deposit after blocking my account is direct proof that they are intentionally avoiding paying out legitimate funds.
I request the immediate release of my rightful winnings of €1,150.
