Leading sports betting affiliate Better Collective has officially launched an innovative new tool named “Playbook,” which leverages artificial intelligence to enhance the user experience and drive retention for sportsbook operators.

The new technology is designed to create a seamless transition for users from betting-related content directly to an active, pre-loaded bet slip within a sportsbook’s app or website.

Playbook utilizes advanced AI-powered bet slip image recognition technology. This allows the tool to automatically identify betting selections from content, such as tips and articles, and populate them directly into a bet slip, streamlining the betting process for the user.

The primary goal of this tool is to improve user retention by removing friction and making it easier for bettors to act on the information they consume.

This launch marks a strategic shift in Better Collective’s affiliate model, enabling the company to target a broader audience of bettors on social media, beyond just those who are already engaged with its established brands.

The tool was successfully piloted during the 2025 Super Bowl before its full-scale launch.
