888 Reports A Very Successful Q3

888 once again proves that it belongs in the top of the game, after reporting a rather high and successful third quarter.

One of the leading operators in the iGaming industry, 888 Holdings, reports a very successful Q3 with a revenue of up to $230m. This 7% increase is despite the operator temporary not obtaining the newly opened Dutch market license. Specifically, the Gibraltar operator suffered a concerning $10m in damages after not obtaining this gambling license. However, this doesn’t seem to deter 888 Holdings and their successful ways.

It is safe to say that a big part in the increase in revenue can be attributed to 888 acquiring the leading sports betting operator, William Hill for a whopping $3.02bn. After the approval of the majority shareholders, Caesars Entertainment agreed to sell the British betting giant to 888. This deal will be finalized by the end of Q1 in 2022.

Moreover, 888 also reports strong numbers from its B2C Gaming division. In particular, there is an 11% increase in Q3, or up to $194m year-on-year. This is in addition to the sportsbook revenue that is noticing a 21% increase. Consequently, the CEO Of 888 Holdings, Itai Pazner, recognizes that this was indeed a very successful quarter for the giant gambling provider.

Q3 was a period of outstanding strategic progress for 888. We announced the transformational acquisition of William Hill International, successfully launched SI Sportsbook in the US and began operating 888sport under a new licence in Germany. And this successful Q3 of 888 easily translates to the recent launch of more than 150 casino games in the same quarter.
