Former FanDuel and Sky Betting Executive Joins to Scale Next-Generation Global Operator Proposition
Midnite has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Willie Lok as its new Vice President of Casino and Loyalty Products. Lok makes the move following a four-year tenure at FanDuel, where he most recently served as VP for Product for Casino & Loyalty, playing a central role in establishing the brand as a leading casino presence in the United States. Prior to FanDuel, he held the position of Head of Product at Sky Betting and Gaming.
In his new role, Lok will spearhead Midnite‘s casino and loyalty strategies, leveraging his extensive background in scaling digital products to support the company’s objective of becoming a next-generation Tier 1 global operator.
Executive Insights
Nicholas Wright, Founder and CEO of Midnite, highlighted the strategic importance of the appointment:
“Over the years, the casino sector has continued to evolve and innovate. But we believe that a structural gap still remains across many regulated markets, where the product expertise has been under-innovated and too many of the principles that define a great player experience require further refinement. At Midnite, we’re on a mission to change that. With Willie joining the team, we’re setting a new standard for casino and loyalty as we continue to push the boundaries of product innovation; having someone with his level of product and industry expertise join our team is a huge milestone for us as we look to scale Midnite into a next-gen tier 1 global operator.”
Willie Lok, newly appointed VP of Casino and Loyalty Products, added:
“I’m really pleased to be joining Midnite and taking on the opportunity to help grow its casino and loyalty products. Building casino products at scale has shown me what a great player experience takes, and Midnite’s in-house platform is a rare foundation for delivering one. There’s a clear ambition across the business, and I’m excited to work with the team as we build out the proposition and continue growing the casino business.”
