Midnite has been confirmed as the official sponsor of Channel 5’s coverage of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, as the sports betting company looks to strengthen its presence in the competitive UK market.

As part of the sponsorship deal, Midnite’s branding will appear across multiple locations, including Channel 5’s live match broadcasts of the FIFA Club World Cup, the daily football analysis programme The Press, and digital channels such as YouTube highlights and online features.

The 2025 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup is one for the books and a major milestone, being that the tournament expands its format to 32 teams and takes place in the United States from 14 June to 13 July.

Football club giants such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Inter Miami, and Boca Juniors are all lining up to compete for global club glory.

Channel 5 will broadcast 23 of the 63 tournament matches, covering a wide range of matches which include 15 games from the group stages, four from the round of 16, two quarter-finals, one semi-final, and the final.

The sponsorship deal also marks a significant milestone for Andrew Mook, the newly appointed Head of Brand Marketing at Midnite, who joined the company earlier this year following his tenure at iGaming giants such as Sky Bet and Flutter.

Andrew Mook, Head of Brand Marketing at Midnite, commented on this historic development:

We’re thrilled to sponsor 5’s coverage of the FIFA Club World Cup and to bring fans even closer to the biggest football event of the summer. At Midnite, we’re all about connecting our players with the games they love, and this high-profile sponsorship is a perfect way to showcase what we do best. It’s another important step in our brand exposure strategy, with plenty more exciting activities on the horizon. Midnite is being crafted to give sports fans the best possible betting experience, and supporting 5’s broadcast of the FIFA Club World Cup is another step in that journey.
