Following an extensive and rigorous application process, electronic gaming machine manufacturer Spintec has secured two critical regulatory vendor licences in the United Arab Emirates and Ontario, Canada.
The dual approvals mark a monumental milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy, providing official entry into two of the industry’s most promising emerging and tightly regulated markets.
In the Middle East, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA)—an independent federal entity possessing exclusive jurisdiction to regulate, license, and supervise commercial gaming within the United Arab Emirates—has granted Spintec a federal gaming-related vendor licence.
This authorization entitles Spintec to establish formal vendor relationships with commercial gaming operators licensed directly by the GCGRA. As a result, Spintec stands proudly among the very first electronic gaming machine producers to achieve federal licence holder status in the Emirates, positioning the brand at the forefront of the region’s emerging commercial gaming landscape.
Strengthening North American presence in Ontario
On the opposite side of the globe, Spintec has successfully finalized its regulatory requirements in Canada, acquiring a gaming-related supplier licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Known globally as a strictly regulated and highly competitive jurisdiction, Ontario represents a cornerstone for commercial growth in North America.
Goran Sovilj, Spintec’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the collaborative effort behind the North American milestone:
“We cooperated with our partner Bet Rite in the licensing process in Ontario. We have invested a lot of effort into it, as it was extremely important for us. The newly acquired licence will enable us to solidify our partnership and further enhance our presence in North America. At the same time, the UAE licence opens up new opportunities for us in the Middle East, where we are among the first licensed vendors to enter the market. Both markets are incredibly important footholds for us.”
Proven excellence across global markets
The dual licensing achievements arrive as Spintec continues to dominate electronic table game metrics worldwide. According to the 2026 Eilers & Krejcik Gaming performance reports, Spintec’s signature roulette solution proudly holds the title of the most successful electronic roulette system across Western Europe, Central Europe, Latin America, and North America.
By combining world-class product engineering with proactive regulatory compliance, Spintec is exceptionally well-equipped to support operators in both the UAE and Ontario as these dynamic markets mature throughout 2026 and beyond.
