The global gaming company Light & Wonder has announced the appointment of Rohan Gallagher to the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Global Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.
Gallagher, who will be based in Sydney, Australia, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the gaming industry, having previously served as the head of investor relations and treasury at rival supplier Aristocrat.
In his new role, Gallagher will be responsible for a wide range of crucial functions, including investor relations (IR), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and global communications.
The appointment is a key strategic move for Light & Wonder as the company finalizes its transition to a sole primary listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), a move that is expected to consolidate liquidity and maximize shareholder value.
Gallagher joins Light & Wonder from the Jarden Group, a financial consultancy business. His deep knowledge of the gaming industry and the Australian market is seen as a major asset that will be instrumental in guiding the company through this pivotal period.
