Esteemed industry veteran Per Jaldung has been named the new Managing Director of Casinos Austria International (CAI), marking a significant leadership appointment for the global gaming operator.
Jaldung announced the high-profile move on social media, expressing his enthusiasm for taking on the new challenge from the company’s headquarters in Vienna, a city he described as being “rich in history and full of opportunities.”

Crucially, he confirmed that this new responsibility will not affect his current duties as the CEO of Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE. Jaldung credited the “talented and dedicated local team” in Brussels for making it possible for him to balance both senior executive positions concurrently.
Jaldung is one of the most respected figures in the European land-based casino sector. He is widely recognized for his extensive experience and his strong commitment to combating illegal activities within the industry.
His distinguished career was formally celebrated in 2021 when he won the prestigious CEO of the Year title at the Global Gaming Awards in London. He has previously spoken about the importance of gaining know-how from established operators like Holland Casino when setting up new, secure gaming environments.
