The flag of Italy, symbolizing the country where Tombola's proprietary bingo product is now powering Sisal's online platform.

In a significant move demonstrating synergy within Flutter Entertainment, online bingo brand Tombola has entered into a platform partnership with fellow Flutter-owned operator, Sisal.

The agreement marks a strategic first for Tombola as it ventures into a platform integration model, launching its proprietary bingo product on Sisal’s digital platform in Italy.

Under the terms of the collaboration, Sisal’s bingo offering will now be powered by Tombola’s award-winning technology and product infrastructure, though the games will retain Sisal’s branding.

The partnership has already gone live with the launch of Super Bingo, a new 75-ball game. A key benefit of this integration is the combined player liquidity from both brands, which allows for significantly larger full house prizes and bigger guaranteed jackpots for Italian players.

The collaboration is set to expand later this year with the introduction of Tombola’s casino product to the Sisal platform, which will include features like player chat functionality and side games.

This next phase aims to create a rich, multi-product environment across the two brands. This partnership may also inform future cross-brand initiatives within Flutter’s global operations.

Rosangela Robbiani, Flutter Southern Europe and Africa (SEA) CPO, stated:

We’re thrilled to see this combination happening, as Italy proves once again to be a fertile ground for collaboration across Flutter’s brands, particularly within Southern Europe and Africa.

Marion Ryan, Tombola MD, added:

This is a hugely exciting moment for Tombola, as we take the next step in our evolution and bring our award-winning bingo product to Sisal’s players in Italy. The ability to seamlessly integrate and scale our platform for future partnerships represents a fantastic opportunity for Flutter to transform the bingo proposition, both within our existing markets and beyond.

Flutter Entertainment acquired Tombola in November 2021 for £402 million, followed by the acquisition of Sisal in August 2022 for £1.62 billion.
