Neosurf has finalized a strategic digital wallet integration with Mercado Pago to streamline online betting deposits in Mexico.

Under the technical integration, Mercado Pago wallet holders will be able to use their Mercado Pago balance to fund online betting accounts via the Neosurf wallet. The global payment provider said the rollout is initially focused on the Mexican market. The network fully supports electronic transfers to participating sports betting operators.

The financial institution described itself as Latin America leading fintech platform with more than 56 million active monthly users. Neosurf positioned the deal as part of broader growth in digital wallet adoption across Latin America. Customers in the region continue to seek mobile first payment experiences. The architecture allows users to fund their digital accounts without sharing confidential banking credentials with end merchant websites.

The deployment aims to optimize checkout conversion rates for licensed sportsbooks operating in the region. The payment system provides instantaneous balance routing to ensure uninterrupted user gaming sessions.

Sue Page, Neosurf CEO Americas, highlighted the commercial growth potential within the regional landscape:

“Mexico represents a major growth market for both digital payments and online betting, and we’re incredibly excited to partner with Mercado Pago.
