Playtech, a leading iGaming content supplier, has partnered with the French Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) in a strategic partnership that will see the two leading brands join forces to bolster their poker offering.

More specifically, this collaboration will focus primarily on the poker capabilities of Playtech, where PMU will join iPoker.EU network and the supplier will support it with its content and vast poker network.

As part of the agreement, Playtech will provide its player engagement tools and poker platform gamification, along with its cutting-edge games and sought-after poker tournaments.

Marat Koss, VP Interactive at Playtech, said that the leading supplier is thrilled with the prospect of partnering with a leading brand on the French gaming scene, such as PMU, highlighting his company’s goal to further strengthen its presence in the booming French market:

We are thrilled to partner with PMU, a leader in the French gaming market.  France is a key market for Playtech, and this collaboration continues to highlight our commitment to providing innovative and engaging poker solutions to our licensees’ needs, ensuring an engaging experience for their players.

Stéphane Auffret, Product, Service and Innovation Director at Pari Mutuel Urbain commented on the collaboration and added that by partnering with an iGaming giant such as Playtech, PMU is positioned to further enhance its poker offerings and deliver the “best experience and technology” to its players.

Partnering with Playtech and joining the iPoker network represents a strategic and significant step for PMU’s growth, allowing us to offer our players an unparalleled poker experience. This collaboration will enable us to enhance our offerings including multi-vertical access to poker through Turf and Sports Applications, and consistently deliver the best experience and technology to our players. We are confident that this partnership will significantly elevate our poker offerings and drive substantial growth in the French market.

What is particularly interesting is that this is not the first French poker venture of Playtech, as the company has previously partnered with La Française des Jeux (FDJ) back in July 2023, in an agreement that saw the leading supplier provide its content and services for the vast poker network of the French operator.
