Expanding Player Account Management Technology Across Canada
Pragmatic Solutions, a provider of Player Account Management (PAM) technology for regulated iGaming operators, has announced that it has been live in Alberta since the province’s regulated online gaming market opened on 13 July 2026. Clients of the company, holding the necessary provincial registrations, launched on the Pragmatic Solutions platform from the very first day of the market opening.
The deployment follows registration by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC), which legally authorizes Pragmatic Solutions to supply its PAM platform technology to locally licensed B2C operators throughout Alberta. This milestone builds on the provider’s established presence in Canada, where it already supports licensed operators in Ontario.

Commenting on the launch, Ashley Lang, CEO of Pragmatic Solutions, emphasized the precision required for a day-one rollout:
“Launching on the first day of a new regulated market is a delivery exercise. Platform certification, licensing, integration testing, compliance sign off and client onboarding all have to complete in sequence, and the operator and the platform provider have to work to the same timetable.”
Lang added:
“Ontario already set a high bar for regulation in Canada, and Alberta added additional complexity to the compliance requirements. Several of them run through the Player Account Management layer: self-exclusion integration, marker of harm monitoring, marketing permissions and regulatory reporting are all platform functions that Pragmatic Solutions covers.”
