Unfolding in a sun drenched village square, Magical Piñata drops players into a celebration already in full swing, where confetti covers the cobblestones and a coin laden piñata sways above the 3×3 grid.
The Wild is a confetti cannon caught mid burst, and it covers every symbol on the reels apart from the Bonus and the Bonus Collect. Fireworks and a sombrero make up the mid tier pays. Below them are the card royals. Two Special Bonus symbols do the heavy lifting: a golden Bonus coin that only shows up on reels one and three, and a rainbow Bonus Collect coin restricted to reel two.
Hit the Bonus Collect on reel two with Bonus coins either side of it and the Bonus Game opens up. Those triggering symbols hold their positions, and three spins go on the clock. Nothing but Bonus and Bonus Collect symbols land from that point on. Vacant spots may pay x1, x2, x5, x7, x10 or x15 the bet, or turn up a jackpot.
Land a Bonus coin and every Bonus Collect on the grid takes its value, wiping the coin off the reels and topping up its own running total. Land anything at all and the spin counter goes back to three. Three blanks in a row ends the round. So does reaching the x5,000 cap.
Jackpot symbols can appear at random. Grand pays x1000 the bet, Major x150, Minor x50, Mini x25.
The base game has two more tricks. Bonus Blast can trigger without warning and scatter enough Bonus and Bonus Collect coins to force the feature open. Separately, a Bonus Collect that lands with Bonus or Jackpot coins but falls short of the trigger still cashes them in, adding the lot to that spin’s win. Players who would rather skip the wait can use Buy Bonus, and Turbo Mode shortens the round.
