Flutter Brazil, the parent ecosystem for major brands such as Betnacional and Betfair, has announced a significant restructuring of its leadership team, with Eduardo “Duda” Monte being announced as new CEO.
The changes are designed to signal organizational maturity and ensure alignment with Brazil’s evolving regulatory landscape as the country enters its first fully regulated sports betting cycle.
Under the new structure, Eduardo “Duda” Monte will assume the role of CEO for Flutter Brazil. Monte, who joined the former NSX in 2023 and previously served as COO, will now be responsible for leading daily operations, driving cultural cohesion, and fostering innovation within the company.
His transition follows his work in developing the operational backbone that currently supports one of Brazil’s largest betting ecosystems.
Concurrently, João Studart will move into the position of Executive Chairman, a strategic role affiliated with the company’s board. Studart, who has led the operation since its inception, will focus on broader strategic responsibilities, including strengthening institutional relationships and overseeing governance initiatives.
His new mandate involves connecting the local team to global excellence centers and ensuring that Flutter Brazil aligns with the best practices established across the group’s operations in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
The leadership transition follows the accelerated growth of the Brazilian operation and its deeper integration with Flutter Entertainment, which entered the market through a merger with NSX.
The restructuring mirrors best practices from other regulated markets where Flutter operates, aiming to ensure transparency, competitiveness, and long-term sustainability.
The company emphasized that a key component of this new structure will be a dedication to player protection mechanisms and efforts to combat illegal operators.
