Live dealer gaming specialist Ezugi, a key brand within the Evolution Group, has announced the appointment of Gilad Ben-Ami as its new Chief Executive Officer.
A seasoned executive within the company, Ben-Ami’s promotion from his previous role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) signals a focus on continuity and deep internal expertise as the brand continues its global expansion.
Ben-Ami has been an integral part of Ezugi’s success since 2017. His journey began eight years ago when he was instrumental in establishing the company’s presence in Romania, helping to grow it from a small team into a significant operation.
His extensive background, which also includes roles in the security sector at companies like EasyCrypt and VibeSec, has provided him with a unique skill set to manage complex, technology-driven operations.
Since its founding in 2012, Ezugi has become a powerhouse in the highly competitive live casino vertical, operating 12 state-of-the-art studios and offering a diverse portfolio of around 20 popular games.
In his first statement as CEO, Ben-Ami expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity and acknowledged the collective effort behind the company’s rise.
Stepping into the role of CEO at Ezugi feels like being entrusted with something very special. Little did I know where the journey would lead when I started eight years ago, helping to build Ezugi presence in Romania, with a small team working hard to make an impact.

Ben-Ami also confirmed he will be meeting with partners soon to outline the brand’s future strategy.
His leadership comes at a time of innovation for Ezugi, which is expanding beyond traditional table games into new formats like its first Marble Race title, reflecting a broader industry trend toward gamification within the live casino space.
